Ilerioluwa Aloba, also known as Mohbad, was a dazzling star who left us on September 12, 2023, leaving us with heavy hearts. Despite only being with us for a brief 27 years after his 1996 birth, he left a lasting impression on the Nigerian music scene and the hearts of innumerable irers all around the world.
Mohbad was more than simply a creative person; he was “Imole,” the light that guided many others in the right direction. He infused our lives with enthusiasm and vitality through his street-pop music. He became well-known because of the generational appeal of his upbeat beats and memorable lyrics.
A highlight of Mohbad‘s career was working with producer Rexxie on the number-one hit song “KPK.” Many people adopted this song as their anthem, and it demonstrated Mohbad’s extraordinary talent and his capacity to engage his audience on a deep level.
