Duo of Nigerian music superstars Davido and Tiwa Savage has been nominated for Best International Act Music category of the 2018 edition of the prestigious Black Entertainment Television (BET) Awards, according to the nominees list that was made to public on Tuesday, May 15, 2018.
This year edition of BET Awards 2018 has been scheduled to take place on June 25 at the Microsoft Theatre in Los Angeles, US.A. The likes of ” Fia ” & ” Tiwa Vibe ” stars will competing with each-other alongside with their fellow African, & UK counterparts.
If you can recall very well, Davido won the award in 2014, which had Tiwa Savage amongst the nominees that year, but lost out the award to his fellow country statesman, Wizkid last year. Although, major snup for this year was Wizkid, who had won the award twice in 2016 & 2017.
Davido is widely tipped to emerge winner at this years event, but he faces competition from the likes of Tiwa Savage, who has also enjoyed a stellar past 12 months and rappers, Cassper Nyovest from South Africa, Stormzy and J Hus from UK.
